💬 Thursday Thread: How are you keeping your foot on the political gas?
We've got less than 20 days - let's leave it all on the field!
I spent the first part of this week in Philadelphia, PA phonebanking, canvassing, and getting out the vote for Harris/Walz. My time culminated with introducing Dr. Jill Biden at a rally at Montgomery Community College, which was such an honor. With less than 20 days to go until Election Day, now is not the time to let up on the gas, though you may feel tired and burnt out. We have to keep pushing. We have to leave it all on the field knowing that we did our best in getting VP Harris elected to Presidential office.
👉 So for today’s Thursday thread, here’s what I’d like to know:
How are you feeling about the election?
What actions are you taking in these final days to get out the vote?
Make sure to cheer on the others in the comments as well who are getting out there and taking action!
Welcome to the Thursday Threads, a weekly chance for us to connect with one another in the comments. Join me and other readers as we navigate important discussions. And a note: a difference of opinion is always okay, being unkind to one another is not. Let’s keep these conversations respectful.
Im heading out to work a 4 hr shift as a poll greeter today in NC! Working almost every day either at the poll or based out of county Dem HQ giving rides to the voting sites. My county is 70/30 red, but we are not letting that stop us!
Leaving sticky notes in bathroom stalls or wherever.
