Definitely Gus Walz’s joyful tears & pride in his father stood out to me as the most endearing and memorable moment from the DNC. As a parent, watching a child’s emotional support for his dad was just beautiful. At the time, I had no idea he is neurodivergent, and it shouldn’t matter. Shame on Republicans for making fun of him.
And of course, all the JOY! Watching at home and then talking with friends about our favorite moments throughout the week was so uplifting and energizing! I am so happy to have hopeful & joyful reasons to vote - not out of fear. I haven’t felt this was since 2008. It’s incredible!!
