This is exactly what I needed today. I have a saved folder on instagram named "breakfast burrito." Wake and Late in DTLA is the best I've ever had, discovered completely by chance, I could CRY about it. It's not a breakfast sandwich but love this spicy lil cousin. Egg/cheese/pork/potato surrounded by a carb is beautiful.
Also when I was in 7th grade, a kid in my science class pronounced organism as orgasm and no one has ever forgotten it.
Not unless your name was Joe S and you went to Roosevelt-Lincoln Junior High. I feel like there's one in every grade and we all hold great tenderness for that person because clearly they just lost the read-aloud lottery <insert Katniss Everdeen salute gif>
I loved "Lessons in Chemistry!" Of course the main character's experience of not being taken seriously because of her sex matches my experience at college and at work, so I had that connection. I'm glad you're enjoying the miniseries. It's on my list!
I made the pilgrimage from Ohio to Las Vegas last weekend to see U2 at The Sphere, too! Awesome experience!! I loved the Gen X nostalgia permeating the entire show, but my Gen Z kid was not impressed with the old folks rocking out to our old college faves š
Breakfast sandwiches ---> this is one of our most treasured / used kitchen appliances! The sections that allow you to cook an egg while also melting the cheese, warming the bagel or muffin are incredible (though I don't eat eggs, I make mine without eggs and the same concept applies). Not an affiliate link, just a regular old Target link: https://www.target.com/p/hamilton-beach-breakfast-sandwich-maker-with-timer-dark-gray-25478/-/A-14437927
So it's the lipstick...I knew something made you glow as you do. My answer to all of life's great challenges is empathy. And for breakfast, perhaps Bacon-Egg-Avocado.
That Intelligencer COVID article is fascinating. And Jenna Lyons is the best "housewife" ever, hands down.
